Joe Angell Automotive Service Inc. is a family owned business. Joe opened his business in 1969 at a Phillips service station on West Ben White Blvd., two years later he had a shop built at 4222 South 1st Street. The shop is located two blocks South of Ben White Blvd. on South 1st Street. This successful business has been built by being loyal and honest. We like to have repeat business. Joe was born and raised in South Austin.
The business is now run by Jimmy Grona and Cristen Angell Grona. Jimmy has been writing service and running the shop for twenty years. Cristen is the office manager and helps out with everything. They took over in September of 2009, Joe is now semi retired.

I am excited that Dad is finally semi-retiring, since he has dedicated so many years of making Joe Angell Automotive Service Inc. a successful, loyal and honest family owned business. We pride ourselves at Joe Angell Automotive in treating our female cliental with respect and honesty. We understand that not everyone (male & female)
understands the inner workings of an electronic ignition system. With that said, our technicians will explain all needed repairs in simple, easy to understand terminology, and we will walk you through all repairs options.
